Az I See It....

Prologue:  Once you change the way you look at things, the things you look at will change. - Regina Brett, age 90

International:  President Obama is on his way to Asia, to smooth-over W's missteps, and presumably, to continue to search for a valid birth certificate.

National:  A recent full-page promotion, run several times in major local papers nationally, advertises that Sarah Palin's soon-to-be-released "Going Rogue" is available on-line for only $4.97.  Hell - you can go to Subway for a $5 Foot-Long and come away much more satisfied!....The Atlanta, Georgia mayoral race is focused on candidate Mary Norwood, who if elected in a Dec. 1st run-off, would be the first White mayor elected since 1974.  Racism is alive and well in these New-Nited States of America!

State/Local:  Three Az. Republican House Representatives - John Shadegg, Jeff Flake, and Trent Franks - were among the NO votes(403-12) in legislation providing for a 14-week extension of unemployment benefit assistance from the federal government for states with particularly high unemployment rates.  They need to find themselves in the unemployment lines as soon as the next election!

Epilogue:  Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie.  Don't save it for a special occasion.  Today is special!  - Regina Brett
