- It takes money to make money - on Monday, April 12th, beginning at 6:00am, log-on to: www.arizonarebates.com to register for one of 35,000 Energy Star appliance rebates, ranging from $75(dishwasher) to $425(electric heat pump.) Beware, though, as retailers know you're coming, so prices may no longer be discounted. Shop prices beforehand. In the long run, it is better to have a 'whole house' appliance insurance policy!
- A Tempe, Arizona restaurant owner(Caffe' Boa) has received death threats for having 'Bunny Rabbit' on his Easter dinner menu. Hey - it's not like the Catholic Church, which has indulged in fresh, young meat 'entrees,' regardless of Holidays, for decades!
- U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security Secretary(and former Az. Gov.) Janet Napolitano has agreed to send federal money to Rhode Island to assist after rivers flooded much of the state. She still refuses, however, to send money to Arizona to assist in stemming the flood of illegal aliens into the state!
