- On the eve of the Masters Golf Championship, Billy Payne, the Chairman of the prestigious Augusta National Golf Club has decided to chide Tiger Woods, citing how 'he disappointed generations of golf fans, failed to live up to expectations, and blah, blah, blah.' Can you believe it? This exclusive club did not allow any Black members until 1990, will not divulge if any members are currently African-American, and women are NOT and NEVER have been allowed to join! Sounds like the irons are calling the woods Black!
