Az I Use It....

- After extensive traveling and research lately, it is apparent that mud-slinging political ads are now the norm.  Politicians just do not want to expound on their own assets and viability, probably because they are asses and liabilities!

- June Cleaver, aka Barbara Billingsley, age 94, has passed away.  After the proliferation of the failed ERA amendment, and the demise of the family structure so dominant until the late 1960s, she is still what American families attempt to emulate.

- Pharmaceutical drug giant Roche Group is adding 500 jobs in Tucson, Az.  Meanwhile, Mexican drug cartels have added 5,000 jobs, including opportunities for pre-teens, throughout Arizona!

- A new study ranks Scottsdale, Az. as the #1 city for babies, including childcare, safety, fun, healthcare, and finances.  A separate study ranks the Arizona legislature as #1 for being cry-babies!

- Eighteen Arizona school districts will receive an additional $43M in federal aid to support performance-based pay initiatives.  The majority of the funds will be designated to administration, to oversee new programs, or to continue existing programs, and will never reach the intended classrooms.  A recent independent study of teachers receiving performance pay bonuses revealed that most considered the programs counter-productive, as requirements were tedious and time-consuming, detracted from classroom duties and professional productivity, and did not produce any significant increases in student achievement - findings also indicated by the same study!

- Another study reveals that women apologize more than men, even though men have more to apologize for(Sorry!)

- The U.S. has among the highest obesity lowest sexual activity rates, among developed nations.  Italy has one of the lowest obesity rates, and the highest sexual activity rate.  Mangia!

-The weather is so great now - it's a perfect time to open all the windows and let in some fresh pollution!
