Az I Play It....

- The Arrowhead Kiwanis Club of Peoria, Arizona will host its Inaugural Golf Tournament, to raise money to continue to assist the many children's charities that it now assists, and to be able to expand assistance to the many child charities that request our help.
When:  Saturday, November 6th.  Registration begins @ 7:00am;  shotgun start @ 8:00am  $75 per golfer, includes golf, cart, & a great lunch!
Where:  Sun City Country Club - 107th Ave, north of W. Olive Ave(the course is in great condition!)
More golfers, raffle items, and donations are needed, as this tournament is now the major fundraising event for this Kiwanis Club.  A new twist for this event is that 'hole sponsorships' are NOT being sought, as they may be typically too expensive, with little benefit to small business persons who purchase them.  Instead, 'goody bag' sponsorships are requested.  For only $10, we will place any and all goody bag items into each golfer's bag, ensuring that they will be taken home and appreciated, instead of being left on a tee box where virtually no one will ever remember your tee sign!
Do you have any items to contribute to this worthy cause?  Business cards, fliers, coupons, giveaways, etc.  All for only $10 - NOT $10 each - just $10 total!  Would you like to participate?  Individuals as well as teams are welcome.  It's not too late!  Contact Arky Muscato, Tournament Coordinator, for more information, at 623-362-0605.  Arrowhead Kiwanis Club, a registered 501(c)3 charitable organization - Serving the Children of the Valley of the Sun!

- Max Hall, the 'undrafted free agent rookie QB' for the NFL's Arizona Cardinals is only on the team because his uncle is Danny White - former ASU & Dallas Cowboys QB, and coach of the Arizona Rattlers.  No wonder he went undrafted.  If not for Uncle Danny, he would already be tending bar at an ASU rave event!  Max's latest 13.5 QB rating game is a true testament to his under-sized inability to play at this level, but it helps to know someone!
