Just News

Prologue:  A recent study reports that 30% of women think their ass is too fat;  10% of women think their ass is too skinny;  and the remaining 60% of women say they don't care - they love him, he's a good man, and they wouldn't trade him for anything!

- Election results report that Republicans were swept into office, at the mid-term, with the on-rush of rich, white, and older voters.  Ready to leap into action, this new legislative powerhouse has vowed to discontinue unemployment benefits, for those who have been long-term unemployed;  and to reverse Obamacare legislation, that created government-run health care, an overwhelming voter favorite among those less fortunate than the rich, white, and older Americans, who already have government-run health insurance - Medicare!

- Under Obamacare, major health insurers will be mandated to spend at least 80% of consumer premiums on medical care, instead of the typical 40% to 60% currently being spent on such trivialities.  The only ones objecting are the shareholders of those companies, and the doctors whose incomes may decrease as those companies pay them less for their services!

- Following tradition, President Obama pardoned the White House turkey, and then pardoned Sarah Palin and George W. Bush, also!

- The Transportation Security Administration(TSA) has begun all-out usage of sensitive body scan machines, provoking outrage from citizens who are rebuked when demanding that turbans should be demanded to be removed(they are not!) from those wearing them, just as shoes, flip-flops, hats, etc., are mandated to be removed by everyone else, and calling into question the necessity of such intimately invasive procedures.  Refusing to be scanned results in 'enhanced pat-downs,' sometimes seemingly more invasive than the scans.  In an effort to appear more sensitive to those with religious objections,  the TSA has arranged for the deployment of former Catholic priests to perform the pat-downs, thereby removing any doubt as to the necessity for such procedures!

- Pam Barrier, of Anthem, Az., and a teacher at Boulder Creek High School(Deer Valley Unified District)was a runner-up in the 2010 Arizona Teacher of the Year Award. Not only a fine teacher, but such a fine person from a great family!  Congratulations, Pam!

Epilogue:  The teacher asked Little Nicky if he knew his numbers.  "Yes, I do.  My father taught me," came the reply.  "Good," said the teacher, "Then what comes after eight?"  "Nine," answered Nicky.  "Very good,' said the teacher, "And what comes after ten?"  Nicky replied, "Jack!"
