- All the hype about Arizona Cardinals' QB Derek Anderson's rant, after being 'caught' smiling during a MNF whomping from the SF 49ers. What about what wasn't 'caught' on video? This game was lost BEFORE it began, and not in the first quarter, after Beanie Wells' fumble and the subsequent, immediate resulting 49ers touchdown. I was at the game, with my son, the U.S. Army Ranger(2nd Lieutenant) and during pre-game warm-ups, he remarked as to how the 49ers were intent on their drills, while the Cardinals linemen were more intent on 'dancing and jiving' to the music being played over the stadium PA system. ESPN did not 'catch' that, as it may have seemed inconsequential to the 'untrained' eye. My son is an avid Az Cards fan, but what he saw in pre-game convinced him the Cards had already blown this one! Give Anderson a break - the best QB in the NFL could do no better with these linemen - both Offense and Defense!
