Az I Eat It....
Willow Creek Restaurant - 2516 Willow Creek Road, in Prescott, Az(928-443-1065)
There are plenty of reasons to visit historic Prescott, Az., but when you go there, don't miss the opportunity to stop at one of the dining treasures in the north-country area. With its own storied past portrayed on the menu, the real pleasure is the numerous entree selections and the splendid service lavished upon the patrons!
Everything from barbecue to seafood to Italian, daily specials, including soups, sandwiches, appetizers - and the desserts....well, they are the reason the rest of the world hates America - we can find desserts like this and they cannot! Simply amazing! And the prices? Amazingly low - and very affordable - for the quality and amount of the food ordered.
Tammy was our server, and she went out of her way to make our visit special - offering menu options; willing to bring alternative meals if not completely satisfied; very attentive to our beverages, etc. And the busing staff was always ready to ensure table space when our plates were emptied. The old-time ambiance and saloon was a treat, too, and if you dine after 5:00pm, there is live entertainment(at least on the weekends!)
Anyway, I think you get the point - Willow Creek Restaurant is a quality and complete dining experience - one not too often found in Arizona, I am sorry to say - but this one is a gem! Call ahead for reservations - you'll be glad you did. Thank you, Tammy!
